The "Fire Bird" is part of my Birds of the Elements collection, composing of birds and plants under an elemental theme.

Fire, the element of energy, action, transformation, and knowledge.

Represented in this piece by the baltimore oriole and peach.

The baltimore oriole, a New World blackbird, loves open woodlands. In the fall, they feed on nectar and fruit, such as peaches. The peach originated in China, and its seeds travelled along the Silk Road to the rest of the world. This oriole is perched on a peach tree that was burned by fire. It represents new beginnings and growth after destruction.

Printed on 189 gsm archival matte paper for a smooth, classic look.

I carefully package your orders with consideration of the weather, handling, and its impact on the environment. Your pieces are protected with either a glassine or plastic sleeve. They may ship out in a cardboard rigid mailer (originals, prints), tube (A3 size), or regular envelopes (stickers, monthly mail club).

If you receive your order in a tube, flatten your prints under heavy books for at least a day.

Expect colour variation from screen to paper. Frames are not included unless listed specifically.
