Lemon Branch Print

"Lemon Branch" is part of my Citrus Grove collection, composing of citrus plants in transformation.

Represented in this piece by the Lisbon lemon.

This popular lemon variety is believed to have originated in Portugal. It is used to flavour pastries, brew teas, and zest seafood. The sweet smell of citrus blossoms may accompany you as you walk through Portugal. The lemon also accompanied Portuguese sailors during their explorations, as the fruit brought healing to many ailments of the sea.
