Hello! I'm Sara, a Singaporean-Canadian painter based in Portugal.

I love studying nature, both as a science and an art. I excel at maintaining the accuracy of the subject while also bending its properties to convey emotion, balance, and harmony.

I am a self-taught artist, beginning my studies in 2021. I have experimented with all kinds of media and subjects, with a speciality in gouache paint and botanicals.

From sharing my learning journey online, I had my first selling exhibition in Lagos, Portugal in July 2023. Since then, I have grown this online shop and sell at markets in Lisbon, Portugal every week.

My goal is to continue bridging the love of nature between science and art. I am currently developing new products for those active in the wild who want more design and illustrations in their practical tools.

In the future, I also plan to create a collection that funds a garden project at Cité Soleil Community School. Previously, I worked as a communications coordinator and translator for NGOs focused on educational & rural development in Haiti. I worked primarily with this school.

I hope my paintings give you a feeling of belonging to the earth, and deepen a curiosity into the colours, line, shapes, and stories found in the wild.
