Hello! I'm Sara, a Singaporean-Canadian painter based in Portugal.

Do you also love studying and getting lost in nature? My work is about maintaining the accuracy of the subject while also bending its properties to convey emotion, balance, and harmony.

I am a self-taught artist, beginning my journey in 2021. I have experimented with all kinds of media and subjects, with a speciality in gouache paint and botanicals.

From sharing my story online, I had my first selling exhibition in Lagos, Portugal in July 2023. Since then, I have grown this online shop and sell at markets in Lisbon, Portugal every week.

My goal is to continue bridging the love of nature between science and art. I am currently developing new products for those active in the wild who want more design and illustrations in their practical tools.

Previously, I worked as a communications coordinator and translator for NGOs focused on educational & rural development in Haiti. I worked primarily with Cité Soleil Community School. Check out my Haiti project!

I hope my paintings give you a feeling of belonging to the earth, and deepen a curiosity into the colours, line, shapes, and stories found in the wild.
